In April 1964 we see a Garden Party in front of grandma’s house. I’m pretty sure my grandmother had those same green and white striped fold up lawn chairs too. You certainly don’t see those beauties any more!
The location of this little party is unknown. But from this picture, and another one inexplicably focused on the sign barely seen to the right, instead of the group of party goers, we have a few tantalizing clues.
“Nick Kennedy,” and “Carr Insurance,” in this one. And then “Pony Acres Trailer Sales” 15375 E Main from the other slide. The slide itself is labeled April 1964, so I thought it might be Arizona or California. But if any of these businesses exist they do not seem to have much of a web presence.
